The gospel music fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of Zabron Singers’ soloist Marco Joseph Bukulu.
Confirming the demise, the talented music group’s chairman, Obeid Kazimili, said the lead singer breathed his last on the night of August 21 in a Dar es Salaam hospital.
"As the chairperson of Zabron Singers, I am saddened to announce the death of our singer, Marco Joseph Bukulu, who was also the deputy chairperson. He died in Dar es Salaam in the hospital known as Jakaya," said Kazimili.
The group promised to release more information about Marco’s internment later.
TUKIO.co.ke has learned that the singer succumbed to a heart condition he was undergoing treatment for.
Zabron singers are popular among Kenyans. Their hit songs include Mkono wa Bwana, Sweetie Sweetie and Uko Single.
