Wadagliz, the popular music duo behind the viral hit “Anguka Nayo,” has officially trademarked both the phrase and its accompanying logo, securing ownership of the song’s intellectual property.
In partnership with The Hood Music label, the duo now holds exclusive rights to the song and its branding.
A press release from The Hood Music confirmed the move, warning that any unauthorized use, reproduction, or commercial exploitation of the trademarked material without a written agreement would result in legal action.
This move is a significant step in protecting the creative work and ensuring that the song’s popularity and its associated content are controlled by its creators.
“Anguka Nayo” has become one of the standout songs of 2024, captivating audiences not just with its infectious beat but also with its accompanying dance challenge that quickly went viral.

The phrase “Anguka Nayo” became a rallying cry, metaphorically calling for the downfall of the bill, and quickly found its way into the national conversation
