A Cessna 185 aircraft, registration 5Y-BVL, crashed at Kedong Ranch, Naivasha claiming the lives of both individuals on board.
According to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), the accident occurred at approximately 17:14.
The aircraft had taken off from Wilson Airport and was en route to Mbaruk when it went down.
A member of the public reported the incident to the Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC), prompting an immediate response from relevant authorities.
KCAA is working closely with the Air Accident Investigation Department (AAID), emergency responders, and local security personnel to gather further details.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims,” KCAA stated.Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
