The Ulinzi Taekwondo team from the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), led by Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar, representing the Base Commander of MOI Air Base, recently visited Mama Fatuma Goodwill Children’s Home in Eastleigh as part of their annual Thanksgiving initiative.
During the visit, the team brought joy to the children by donating essential items such as foodstuffs, toiletries, and sanitary towels.
Their kind gesture brought smiles and uplifted the spirits of both the children and the staff at the home.
Haribae Mohamed, the manager of Mama Fatuma Children’s Home, expressed deep gratitude for the team’s continued support.
“Your generosity not only brings joy to these children but also serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of kindness and humanity,” he said.
This visit highlights the KDF’s commitment to community service and its core values of unity, compassion, and care, especially during the festive season.
