Tusker Oktobafest has brought its nationwide tour to Nairobi, with a three-day event at Covo in Kahawa Sukari running from Friday, October 23, to Sunday, October 25.

The festival, which has already made stops in Eldoret, Nanyuki and Mombasa, combines live music, beer promotions and urban culture as Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) continues its month-long celebration.

Several artistes and DJs are lined up to perform throughout the weekend. DJ Lisney is scheduled to take the stage on Friday, followed by Willie Paul on Saturday. Njerae and Codeblack will close the Nairobi edition on Sunday.

The event features beer brands from KBL’s portfolio, including Tusker Lager, Tusker Malt, Tusker Lite, Tusker Cider, Guinness, Balozi, Manyatta, White Cap, White Cap Crisp and Pilsner.

Entry to the event is free, according to the organisers, with the festival targeting adults interested in live entertainment and Kenyan urban culture.

The nationwide tour will continue in other towns in the coming weeks, with the next stops scheduled for Mombasa, Ugunja and Nakuru.

The upcoming events are planned as follows:

  • November 1: 1922, Mombasa
  • November 7: Nebraska, Ugunja
  • November 14: Space Next Door, Nakuru
  • November 21: Big Tree, Mombasa

Beyond the live events, KBL is also offering promotions and discounts on selected beer brands through supermarkets and e-commerce partners.

The offers will cover products across its lager, stout, cider and malt categories.

The company has positioned Oktobafest as a platform for showcasing its beer portfolio while bringing live music and local culture to different parts of the country.
