Kenyan filmmaker and digital creator Terence Creative has publicly condemned a viral street video that many viewers have described as harassment and disrespect toward a young girl.

In a strongly worded social media post, Terence expressed anger and disappointment over the circulating clip, stating that what was being shared online does not qualify as content, but rather harassment disguised as entertainment. He questioned why such videos continue to gain traction in the name of views and traction, calling for higher standards and accountability among content creators.

“This is not content. This is harassment and disrespect to a girl child,” Terence wrote, adding that creators can still gain views without resorting to degrading or exploitative material. He further lamented that despite the video clearly showing troubling behavior, he had not seen any arrests or court action taken against those involved.

Using the hashtags #RespectfulContent and #DigitalAfya, Terence urged both creators and authorities to take responsibility in shaping safer digital spaces. He also went a step further by pointing out the exact location where the incident allegedly occurred along Muthithi Road opposite Pumwani Maternity, near Eastleigh High and a few metres from BBS Mall calling on relevant agencies, including the DCI, to investigate the matter.

The post quickly drew support from many Kenyans online, with users applauding Terence for speaking up for vulnerable individuals and calling out harmful trends in street content. Others echoed his sentiments, urging platforms and law enforcement to act decisively against creators who cross ethical and legal lines.
