Jamaica full-back Taylor Hinds has rejoined Arsenal as a free agent after her contract with Liverpool ended.
The 26-year-old began her career in Gunners before joining Everton in 2018.
She has signed a three-year-old deal, becoming Arsenal’s second signing of the summer after England forward Chloe Kelly made her loan move permanent.
She expressed excitement saying her return is a full-circle moment.
“I’m grateful to come back to a place I called home when I was younger,” said Hinds.
Arsenal have been eager to finalise transfers early in order to build on their Women’s Champions League success and are expected to make at least another signing.
After two years with the Toffees, Hinds moved to Liverpool and made 131 appearances in five seasons, scoring eight goals.
She was an integral part of their Women’s Championship title win in 2021-22 and became Liverpool vice-captain in 2023.
Hinds can play both full-back and in midfield and represented England at youth level in the Under-17 and Under-20 World Cups before switching allegiance to Jamaica.
