Shri Krishana Overseas (SKL) Plc, a leading provider of packaging solutions, today announced significant progress on the construction of its new state-of-the-art packaging facility in Kisaju, Kajiado County.
The project, set on a 2-acre parcel, remains on track for completion by the end of the year, with commercial operations slated to begin in early 2026. The new facility will have an annual capacity of 22,000 tonnes of packaging materials, up from the current 3,000 tonnes.

Dr. Sonvir made the remarks during a tour of the facility with the board of directors and the company’s team of consultants.
“This strategic expansion represents a major commitment to all SKL stakeholders. It reinforces our promise to provide customers with advanced, sustainable solutions, delivers long-term value for investors, and is set to create vital job opportunities for the local community in Kajiado County,” added SKL Finance Director and Founder Nirmla Chaudhry.
In July, SKL listed 50.5 million ordinary shares by introduction on the Nairobi Securities Exchange’s SME Market Segment.
