Siaya County is set to unveil two major projects on Tuesday as part of efforts to expand health and sports infrastructure in the region.
Governor James Orengo will host Defence Cabinet Secretary Roselinda Soipan Tuya for the launch of Phase Two of the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Stadium upgrade and the groundbreaking of the proposed Siaya County Level 5 Hospital.
The two projects are billed as game changers for the lakeside county, with the hospital expected to ease pressure on referral facilities while expanding access to specialised healthcare.
The stadium upgrade, once complete, is projected to boost local sports development and provide modern facilities that meet national and international standards.
Governor Orengo said the initiatives signal a new chapter in service delivery, aimed at offering world-class amenities to the people of Siaya.
