President William Ruto has broken his silence over recent anti-government protests and political unrest, warning those he accuses of plotting to destabilize the country through unconstitutional means.
Speaking firmly, Ruto stated:
“This country will not be destroyed by a few people who are impatient and want a change of government using unconstitutional means. I want to tell them it is not going to happen.”
Addressing a gathering amid rising tensions across parts of the country, the President accused unnamed individuals of fueling chaos to force a power shift outside democratic processes.

He cautioned that while he had remained patient in the face of provocation, the time had come to draw a line.
“Mimi nimenyamaza, nimewavulimia lakini mahali imefika, enough is enough,” he said in Kiswahili, which translates to, “I have kept quiet, I have tolerated you, but where things have reached—enough is enough.”
