President William Ruto has underscored Kenya’s commitment to expanding international cooperation, saying stronger ties with global partners are key to boosting trade, investment, and addressing emerging global challenges.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi, after receiving credentials from newly-posted ambassadors, the Head of State said Kenya will continue to strengthen its diplomatic engagements for mutual benefit and success.
“We are enhancing cooperation with other countries across the globe to expand trade and investments, besides working together in tackling emerging challenges for our shared prosperity,” President Ruto noted.
The new envoys who presented their credentials include Farid Ouahid Dahmane (Algeria), Katalin Nyirati (Hungary), Catherine Moe (Norway), and Yurii Tokar (Ukraine).
Others are Gisele Fernández Ludlow (Mexico), Hatem Yousri Hosni (Egypt), Kristina Radej (Slovenia), and Abdusalom Khatamov (Uzbekistan).
President Ruto officially welcomed the ambassadors to Nairobi and wished them success as they embark on their diplomatic missions in Kenya. He also assured them of his administration’s support in deepening bilateral ties.
“Kenya remains open and committed to working with all our partners for the advancement of peace, trade, and sustainable development,” he added.
