President William Ruto has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to empowering citizens nationwide, with a particular focus on women, through initiatives that provide financial support to start, grow, and scale enterprises.

Speaking at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, during the 16th anniversary of the Joyful Women Organisation, President Ruto highlighted the transformative role of women in society.

“Our administration remains firmly committed to uplifting women because when we uplift women, we uplift families, strengthen communities, and advance the nation as a whole,” President Ruto said.

The event, held under the patronage of First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, celebrated the organisation’s achievements in empowering over 250,000 women economically, socially, and collectively across 44 counties.

The President commended the organisation’s remarkable impact and pledged continued support as it pursues even greater goals in the future.
