William Kabogo has highlighted the government’s integrated approach to development, following Day One of the Murang’a County Development Tour led by William Ruto and Kithure Kindiki.

Speaking after the engagements in Murang’a County, Kabogo said the projects launched and inspected reflect a coordinated effort to address key pillars of economic growth, including infrastructure, housing, education, and digital access.

“Today, I had the honour of joining H.E. President William Ruto and H.E. Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki for Day One of the Murang’a County Development Tour, where we witnessed meaningful progress across key sectors that directly impact livelihoods,” he said.

The tour featured the launch of the Kiriko–Karugia Road in Mathioya, a project expected to improve connectivity and ease the movement of goods and people within the region.

Leaders also presided over the groundbreaking of the Kiharu Affordable Housing Project and a 580-bed hostel at Kiharu Technical Training Institute, initiatives aimed at expanding access to decent housing and improving learning infrastructure for students.

An inspection of Mumbi Stadium was also conducted, with officials reviewing progress on upgrades intended to support sports development and community activities.

Kabogo noted that the day’s activities reflect a deliberate focus on improving living standards while creating opportunities for young people.
