President William Ruto on Tuesday met French Ambassador Arnaud Suquet at State House Nairobi, reaffirming strong ties between Kenya and France.

The two discussed expanding cooperation in key sectors including green industrialisation, agriculture, infrastructure and the digital economy.

“Kenya and France enjoy strong, cordial relations grounded in shared values and mutual interests, with France emerging as one of Kenya’s leading investors, “statement read.

Talks also focused on preparations for the Africa Forward Summit to be held in Nairobi, as well as the upcoming G7 Summit, where Kenya has been invited by President Emmanuel Macron.

The meetings signal Kenya’s growing push to shape global economic discussions and strengthen international partnerships.
