President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to reject tribal divisions and instead work together towards the nation’s shared development goals.

Addressing over 600 leaders from the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA) at State House Nairobi, President Ruto emphasized the importance of national unity in achieving inclusive growth.

“We must all work together to unite our nation and reject any attempts to divide us along tribal lines. Let us stay focused on our shared development aspirations, which promise inclusive growth for all,” President Ruto said.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to working with leaders from across the political spectrum to tackle the challenges facing Kenyans.

“As a government, we remain committed to working with leaders across the political spectrum to confront the challenges facing Kenyans and to implement programmes and projects that fast-track our country’s socio-economic transformation,” the President added.

The gathering brought together religious leaders and government officials, underlining the government’s ongoing efforts to foster dialogue and collaboration with all sectors of society.

President Ruto’s remarks come at a time when the country is navigating various socio-economic challenges, with his administration prioritizing unity and development as key pillars for progress.

The President concluded by calling on all Kenyans to remain focused on building a cohesive and prosperous nation, assuring that his government will continue to champion policies and initiatives that benefit every citizen.
