Tallia Oyando, Citizen TV’s beloved reggae host famously known as The Night Nurse, has announced her departure from the station after an incredible eight-year run hosting the popular One Love show.
In an emotional message shared on her social media, Tallia reflected on her time at Citizen TV, expressing gratitude to both her fans and colleagues. She emphasized that the time had come to embark on a new chapter in her career.
Drawing inspiration from Bob Marley, she quoted, “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” She also thanked her loyal viewers for their unwavering support, confirming that her final One Love episode will air on Saturday, January 25.
“After 8 beautiful years of love, music, and family on One Love at Citizen TV, it’s time for a new chapter. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who made this journey unforgettable. As Joseph Hill said, ‘Love shines brighter than the morning sun.’”
“This isn’t goodbye, greater things are ahead. Let’s meet up for the final episode of One Love this Saturday. One Love, always and forever,” she added.
While Tallia did not reveal her next steps, her heartfelt message hinted that her passion for reggae and storytelling remains strong.
