Red Bull Wings Cup has launched its partnership with Kenyan gamers to compete in East Africa Sports FC 27.
The national champion will earn a coveted spot at the global finals in Miami 2027. The Wings Cup is not just another tournament but a gateway to global recognition.
EA Sports FC 27, a successor to FIFA, mirrors the intensity of real football, where players across the country battle it out, with one champion carrying Kenya’s flag to Miami.
The winner will join elite gamers from around the world, competing for prestige, prizes and a place in esports history.
The Red Bull event will give Kenya a chance to shine on the global stage, allowing fans to see gaming as an extension of their love for the beautiful game.
The event will take place from September 27 to November 7, at Sarit Center Century Cinemax. Participants above 18 years are allowed to take part. There will be two leagues: the Open League, where one plays EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Team on PlayStation and the University League will be played in Rush mode.
The World Final will occur in Miami, United States of America, in January 2027. The National Final will see winners from around the world will meet in a unified bracket to crown one champion.
The World Final will be played in Kick Off 95 and will include real, physical football challenges.
