Celebrated Kenyan writer and journalist Rasna Warah is dead.
Warah breathed her last on the evening of Saturday, January 11. Her cause of death is yet to be made public.
In her professional journey, she worked as an editor at the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
Her articles are also featured in several Kenyan media outlets, including The Elephant.
Warah is also famed for her five books, among them War Crimes which she published in 2014, Mogadishu Then and Now (2012), UNsilenced (2016), Triple Heritage (1998) and The Lords of Impunity.
