Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is dead.
Raila succumbed to a cardiac arrest on the morning of Wednesday, October 15, in India, where he travelled early in October for treatment.
The ODM leader, who died aged 80, had been receiving treatment at the Ayurvedic Eye Hospital Research Center at Koothattukulam in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Initial reports had suggested that the former premier was slightly indisposed. His elder brother, Oburu Odinga, later assured the public that he was recovering.
