Popular radio host Mkamburi Chigogo has stirred up controversy with a bitter post indirectly aimed at influencer and content creator Lydia Wanjiru, accusing her of living in contradiction.
In a now-viral Instagram story, Mkamburi did not beat around the bush as she revealed what she termed “internet aunties” preaching one thing on the internet only to do the very opposite privately. Even though Mkamburi never mentioned names explicitly, fans were not slow to connect the dots and took it that she was referring to Lydia Wanjiru who is renowned for her tough take on relationships, independence, and women avoiding domestic chores in uncommitted relationships.
Same person who looked after someone’s sons when he fell sick (as a girlfriend). now talking about how living with a man feels like a death sentence is just wild business!” Mkamburi wrote, clearly perplexed at the contradiction.
Mkamburi went a step further to accuse the said individual of cohabiting with a man, taking care of another woman’s child, and doing housework while also preaching independence and anti-domestic roles online.
“Saa hizo mumama anafua, anapika, analea mtoto wa mwanamke mwingine daily alafu anakuja kudanganya wajinga waliwao wa internet,” she went on, with the kicker:
“Mjini kuna mambo!”
