Members of President William Ruto’s re-election grassroots team, the Queens of RutoNdiki Women Group, paid a courtesy call at the United Democratic Alliance offices as they stepped up mobilisation efforts across the country.
The delegation was led by the group’s Chairperson Naomi Okeyo and Secretary General Amina Bakari and brought together leaders from seven counties namely Nairobi, Mombasa, Busia, Bungoma, Migori, Kwale and Vihiga.
During the meeting, the women leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting the ruling party at the grassroots through public sensitisation on the achievements and progress of government programmes.
The group also revealed that it has established structures aimed at rallying support for President Ruto’s re-election bid ahead of the next General Election.
The delegation was hosted by Margaret Ndanyi, Director for Women Affairs, Civic Education and Training, alongside several members of the party secretariat.
