Isaac Mwaura, the Government Spokesperson, is facing intense pressure to step down as criticism over his performance continues to grow.
This comes after it was reported by section of the media that Mwaura, was allegedly removed from key WhatsApp group that coordinates government operations.
His removal followers that of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua who few months ago was impeached.
Stakeholders, both within and outside government circles, have voiced concerns over what they describe Mwaura tenure as government spokesperson as a lackluster marred by inefficiency and self-promotion.
The wave to oust him from the position was recently amplified by a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) by patriotic Kenyan Sam Terriz.

In a strongly worded statement, Terriz accused Mwaura of failing to deliver meaningful results since taking office over a year ago.
“His time has been characterized by a relentless focus on self-promotion, with his image plastered across countless posters that serve no discernible purpose beyond self-aggrandizement,” Terriz tweeted.
Terriz’s remarks have resonated with many who echo similar frustrations.
Among the key allegations are Mwaura’s penchant for fostering internal disputes with colleagues such as @MuthumaGabriel and @M_Chidzuga, spreading misinformation, and issuing contradictory statements that have reportedly eroded public trust in government communication.
“Mwaura’s actions reflect insecurity. Rather than focusing on his responsibilities, he has spent his tenure stoking unnecessary conflicts and undermining colleagues,” Terriz stated in his viral post, which has since sparked a broader public outcry.
Critics have also raised questions about Mwaura’s commitment to the administration’s agenda, with accusations that his conduct undermines key government initiatives.
Calls for his resignation are growing louder, with many arguing that his departure is necessary to restore credibility to the office and improve the government’s public image.
The mounting pressure comes at a critical time for the administration, which is keen to maintain public confidence and streamline its communication strategy.
