Award winners were selected by a panel comprising Caf’s technical committee, African media professionals, players and coaches.
There was still joy for West Africa, as Brighton goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie secured the women’s best goalkeeper award for the third successive year.

Cape Verde coach Bubista was named men’s coach of the year after leading his nation to a historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Watford’s Othmane Maamma earned the men’s young player of the year accolade, having won the Golden Ball during Morocco’s triumphant Under-20 World Cup run.
