President William Ruto prompted the Kenyan populace to avoid divisive politics, rally behind his team’s development agenda, and report to him for correction when he goes astray.
He assured that Together with his government, he shall reverse the country’s fortunes. Executive On the second day of his Coast tour, the head of state activated a 14-kilometre Metre gauge railway project linking the Mombasa Central Business District to Miritini.
Besides, the President called on Kenyans to recognize the railway as just one visible sign of the government’s drive to kindle economic vigor and put Kenya on the global map.
He explained that building a broad coalition government, the choice for dealing with the conflict and stalemate experienced after the general election, was aimed at bringing together citizens of Kenya and uniting the country as a whole.
“It is not long before Kenyans will see the transformation through the projects and policies we are implementing nationwide. Let us stay focused and avoid the divisive politics of the naysayers who have no development agenda,” he advised.
Additionally, the President handed over title deeds to 800 families living in Changamwe, vowing to eliminate long-standing land conflicts in the Coastal region, among other activities during the tour.
He then went on to survey the progress of the ongoing affordable housing project in the Nyali constituency. “We are upgrading infrastructure to enhance port efficiency, boost performance and generate more jobs for our young people.” he added
