President William Ruto has arrived in Egypt for a two-day state visit.
On arrival on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 29, Ruto was received by his host, President Abdel Fatttah El-Sisi, at the Headquarters of the Presidency of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
According to images seen by TUKIO.co.ke, President Ruto was welcomed with full military honours.
The two leaders will hold talks ranging on various issues of mutual interest and benefit, including diplomatic, trade and investment relations between Kenya and Egypt.
President Ruto and Abdel will also witness the signing of various agreements and later address a press conference.
Further, Ruto is expected to woo his host to back Raila Odinga’s candidacy in the African Union Commission chairmanship race.
