National Land Commission (NLC) Chief Executive Officer Kabale Tache Arero has refuted claims that she is eyeing a political seat in Marsabit County, saying her focus remains on her role at the commission and giving back to the community.
Speaking in Saku constituency in Marasabit county during a youth empowerment program, the National land commission boss said her intention was not to venture into politics but better the lives of young people in the area.
Arero said it was unfortunate that local leaders kept off the event which was meant to empower young people many who are jobless and in need of income generating opportunities.
She challenged young people to take advantage of the many empowerment programs that have been rolled out by the government to be self reliant as white colour jobs are now hard to comebye.
