The first wife of Muigai wa Njoroge, Njeri wa Muigai, has opened up about one of the hardest times she has gone through in her life.In her emotional social media post, Njeri shared a throwback photo taken fifteen years ago, during one of the hardest times she has been through, where rumors were circulating that she had gone abroad.
“This photo was taken five years ago, at a time when people were saying that I had gone abroad. All that time, I was raising this small boy, Davy my love. We were left when he was only five months old,” she wrote.She also shared the story of the day she took the photo, where she was on her way from Mwihoko to Nairobi town to attend church.
“We were heading to church from Mwihoko to Nairobi town. Let me tell you, Maina, when I walked into the Unified church in Githurai, the song ‘Babee’ was playing on the screens. And I was not even in the song. Guess what my daughter asked me? That is a story for another day,” she added.
Although she did not disclose fully what her daughter had told her, it was evident the statement reflected the pain she was going through at the time.Njeri openly talked about the pain she was going through and confessed that it was a season of pain and shame for her.“Only God knows the pain, agony, and shame that I went through. But today I have a different story. I have seen the faithfulness of God,” she wrote.“Please do not hate yourself. Stand strong and trust God in everything,” she concluded.
