Kenya digital content creator Njambi has opened up about her separation from her estranged husband, stating the challenges of she has been navigating in her relationship, family and self-discovery.
She revealed that the two are no longer together but they are still figuring things out and how they can co-parent.
“Sometimes it’s not always about what the two of you want, it’s about the environment the two of you create especially for your child… We are figuring out how to be parents while also figuring out who we are as individuals,” Njambi said.
Njambi said things won’t be the same in the coming months, but they would be different. She also noted people should not end their relationships with drama; instead, people should wish for one another the best in their new relationships.
“Not everything has to have a dramatic ending… sometimes two people can genuinely want the best for each other and still realize that the relationship they built is no longer the right environment for them,” she said.
She also revealed the reasons for their separation were to heal and figure out what her child wants and to keep her family working together as one and noted that she will let life unfold itself.
“We separated because we just wanted to think clearly. Heal and figure out what is genuinely best for all of us and especially our child…sometimes you have to let unfold,” she said.
