The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has appointed Nisha Van Hoek, a Board Director and Chair of the Communication and PR Committee, as the new Co-Chair of Women’s Rugby.
Nisha will serve alongside John Kilonzo who is director, women’s rugby.
“With her extensive background in communication and leadership, along with her dedication to promoting women in sports, Nisha is well-equipped to foster the growth and development of women’s rugby in Kenya” KRU said.
This appointment underscores KRU’s ongoing commitment to enhancing women’s participation at all levels of the sport.
“Together with Kilonzo, Nisha will engage with stakeholders to broaden the reach of women’s rugby, create more opportunities for female athletes, and ensure that Kenya’s women’s rugby teams excel on the global stage” the union stated.
