Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has arrived in Entebbe, Uganda, to represent Kenya during the country’s 63rd Independence Day celebrations on behalf of President William Ruto.

The celebrations, taking place in Entebbe, mark 63 years since Uganda gained independence in 1962 and have drawn leaders and dignitaries from across the African continent.

Prof. Kindiki is expected to deliver President Ruto’s message of goodwill to the people and Government of Uganda and reaffirm Kenya’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
