In a heartfelt video shared across social media, Nicholas Kioko’s sister publicly apologized to both Kioko and Wambo Ashley for accusing them of neglect. The apology came after a social media uproar that had put the family’s relationship in the spotlight.
“I am really sorry for what I said. I meant no harm at all. I beg for forgiveness from all of you and from Kenyans as well,” Kioko’s sister tearfully expressed in the video. She also mentioned that Tracey, another family member, had already asked for forgiveness and urged the public to accept her apology.
The drama had started earlier when Kioko’s niece claimed that the YouTuber had bought clothes and shoes for his own children and other relatives, but not for her. This led to an accusation from Kioko’s sister, who went public on social media, alleging that her brother, despite receiving a lot of help while in school, had failed to support her or her family in return.
Kioko responded strongly, taking to his Instagram stories on January 8, 2024, to defend himself against the accusations. He expressed frustration over his sister’s ongoing demands, claiming she had resorted to blackmail in an attempt to force him to pay for his niece’s school fees.
The situation escalated further when Kioko’s sister allegedly pressured her young daughter to make a video spreading false claims that Kioko had abandoned his family, prioritizing his wife and others instead. “It’s painful and unjust,” Kioko wrote in one of his posts, vehemently denying the allegations.
The popular content creator explained that he had consistently supported his niece, covering her school fees and even her medical expenses on multiple occasions. Despite the emotional outbursts and accusations, Kioko maintained his commitment to his family, urging for understanding and resolution.
