Residents of Narok South have expressed support for President William Ruto’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 General Election, during a political engagement in Naroosura Ward.
Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu urged residents to turn out in large numbers and support the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) administration, citing development programmes being implemented across the region.
Ntutu said the Kenya Kwanza administration’s development priorities have been guided by the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which was adopted as a framework for government policy and interventions.
He pointed to ongoing and completed projects as part of the administration’s development record in Narok. President Ruto has previously highlighted road projects in Narok South and other parts of the county, including the Noswani-Naikarra-Morijo road and ongoing works on the Ololung’a-Ewaso Ng’iro road.
The governor also said efforts had been made to address what he described as historical marginalisation of the Maa community through infrastructure development, improved service delivery, and expanded economic opportunities.
Political activity is intensifying ahead of the 2027 elections, with both government-aligned and opposition leaders stepping up engagements across the Maa region.
