Nadia Mukami

Kenya Afro pop singer Nadia Mukami has bagged another win to her career after receiving two gold medals and three silver plaques from streaming platforms to celebrate her songs surpassing 151 million streams.

She has shared with her fans the celebration, posing with her plaques, each representing millions of streams for her biggest hits. The plaques were of 39 million, 25 million, 17 million, 11 million and 10 million streams, underscoring her dominance in Kenya and East African music industry.

The recognition was given to her as one of the most streamed female artists in East Africa, in a consistent effort to break into the music industry.

Her breakthrough began with her single track “Si Rahisi” (2017) and “Radio Love” featuring Arrow Bwoy. She has also collaborated with artist like Otile Brown, Khaligraph Jones and many others giving her a platform to perform with different musicians.

In the past, she has won the ZURI Awards (2021) for the Financial Discipline Journey Initiative, in 2023 AFRIMMA, where she was crowned the best female artist in East Africa and TUKO Entertainment Awards (2024) where she was voted the best female artist.
