All is set for the 2025 NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale, which tees off tomorrow at the par-72 Muthaiga Golf Club, marking the climax of the tournament’s fifth edition.
The highly anticipated event will feature 250 golfers, including 90 who qualified through events held in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. They will compete for top honours in the overall, men’s, ladies’, and junior categories.
The Overall Winner, Men’s Winner, and Ladies’ Winner will each earn Ksh 130,000. Players will also stand a chance to win a JCB Backhoe Loader—courtesy of JCB Ganatra—for a hole-in-one on the par-3 13th hole.
Since the series began in January at the Kenya Railway Golf Club, more than 5,102 golfers have taken part in 40 tournaments across the four participating countries.
VetLab’s Mary Karano will be making her third appearance at the Grand Finale, having featured in the previous two editions.
NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora noted that this year’s Grand Finale caps off a highly successful series, which has grown even bigger with the inclusion of Rwanda.
This will be the third time Muthaiga hosts the Grand Finale since the series’ inception in 2021.
The inaugural finale took place at Karen Country Club in 2021, followed by Muthaiga in 2022, Sigona Golf Club in 2023, and a return to Muthaiga in 2024.
