Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has commended the Nandi County security team and local administrators for their successful fight against drug and substance abuse in the county.
“I want to congratulate the county security team together with our chiefs for a job well done. Drug and substance abuse has reduced in Nandi County by 90%,” he said.
The CS was speaking at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Kapsabet during Holy Mass and a resource mobilisation drive towards the development of the church’s infrastructure.
Furthermore, he commend the church, the local community, and leadership for working closely with our county security team in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse, which has seen the menace reduce significantly in the county.
Murkomen was joined by the Prime Cabinet Secretary H.E. Musalia Mudavadi and other leaders and faithful of St. Peter’s Cathedral, Kapsabet.
