Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday met Members of Parliament from Nandi County to discuss development priorities and strategies to accelerate service delivery in the region.
The meeting, led by Tinderet MP and Chair of the National Assembly Education Committee Hon. Julius Melly, focused on practical approaches to ensure government programmes translate into tangible benefits for local communities.
Mudavadi underscored the importance of sustained support for agriculture, noting the sector’s critical role in providing livelihoods, ensuring food security, and promoting economic stability for millions of Kenyans.
Other MPs in attendance included Hon. Maryanne Keittany (Aldai) and Hon. Josses Lelmengit. The Prime Cabinet Secretary also confirmed his participation in the annual Tinderet Barngetuny Mountain Run, scheduled for January 17, an event celebrated for promoting community cohesion, wellness, and local development initiatives.
“Service delivery remains the heartbeat of President William Ruto’s agenda, touching communities across the country and driving real impact on the ground,” Mudavadi said, highlighting the government’s commitment to empowering counties through targeted interventions.
The engagement is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between national leaders and county representatives to accelerate inclusive growth and development.
