A knowledge acquisition training directed at mothers in which they were equipped with skills for identifying the right and quality care products for babies has benefited hundreds of mothers.

This is a move to a time when the issue of fake products for the care of babies coming into the market, that is, continuously causing the death of newborns, is getting bigger and bigger.

According to Baby Banda Fair Director, Elizabeth Wanjiku, this program has been the major player in communication with mothers about the issue of safe products for babies.

She acknowledged that since its inception 10 years back, the training has been instrumental in parenting education on the choice of infant care products. “Counterfeit products are the main cause of many health problems for babies and hence through education, mothers have been given the knowledge and power of what to look for and how to protect their little ones,” said Wanjiku.

Baby Banda Fair remains an opportunity window for parents to receive expert advice, find good products, and have the support of the network in the care of their newborns.
