Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Akothee has fiercely defended media personality and content creator Azziad Nasenya, urging her critics to stop bullying the 25-year-old and instead commend her for being courageous.

In a lengthy social media post, Akothee praised Azziad for being brave enough to aspire big in life, citing her ability to obtain a loan and purchase a home as a great achievement. Such success, according to Akothee, should be an inspiration to young people, not be met with negativity.

“Let’s leave Azziad alone, pick a fight! First and foremost, I love and respect this girl even more for having greater ambitions. That’s the way it goes. If your ambitions don’t deprive you of sleepless nights, then they are not big enough,” Akothee shared.

The hot songstress likened her own life when she was 25 years old, emphasizing the reality that most women of about her age were struggling with broken marriages, having children on their own or without means. She reiterated that Azziad’s courage to take charge of her own life is worth emulating.

“She’s not waiting to be rescued; she’s educating herself so that she will not be a burden to her parents or her future husband. Let us celebrate courage and not criticize it,” Akothee added.

Akothee also lashed out at Azziad’s critics, indicating that some of the critics do not even qualify for small loans but have the nerve to shoot down the woman. She urged Azziad to keep on dreaming and building, referring to her as a source of inspiration to several young ladies in the country.

Akothee’s fans were quick to shower her with praise, with many agreeing that Azziad’s tale is one of ambition and independence.

“Keep dreaming, keep building, you’re an inspiration to many,” Akothee affirmed.
