A survey conducted by Infotrak Research has listed the most and least influential leaders in Kenya at the moment.

From the research findings, Azimio leader Raila Odinga is the most influential figure. He was supported by 26% of the respondents.

President William Ruto came in a distant second with 7% support, while impeached deputy president Rigathi Gachagua garnered 6%.

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino was ranked fourth with 5% same as Gen Zs who played a key role in demanding good governance during the anti-finance bill protests.

Political activist Morara Kebaso, who has been touring the country exposing the government’s stalled projects, garnered 4% of the respondents’ support.

The survey indicated that Interior Cabinet Secretary and deputy president nominee Kithure Kindiki was supported by only 1% of the respondents.

Other leaders who garnered 1% are former Cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i, Busia senator Okiyah Omtatah, and Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna.
