Kenya’s Raila Odinga will debate his two opponents in the African Union Commission chairmanship race today, Friday, December 13.
The debate, organised by Mjadala Afrika Leadership will be held at African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at 19:00-21:00 EAT, 18.00-20.00 CAT or 16.00-18.00 GMT.
The battle will be coming to you live on different national broadcaster stations.
It will be live on Multichoice Africa’s DSTV channel 197 and on the free-to-air channels of National Broadcasters who are also on the DSTV platform.
The debate will also be live on CNBC Africa’s digital platforms including their YouTube.
Interested people can also watch it on the African Union livestream.
Raila will face off against his top rival, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf from Djibouti and Madagascar’s Richard Randriamandrato.
The debate is expected to set the pace for the elections in February 2025 to replace the outgoing Moussa Faki.
