Martha Miano, who Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua fired while still in office, has landed a plum government job.

Miamo has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Pipeline Company Limited.

She will serve in the board for a period of three years, effective from March 7, 2025. The previous appointment of Jane Njeri Mwangi as a member of the board has since been revoked.

Miamo’s appointment was made by Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum Opiyo Wandayi.

She was allegedly fired by Gachagua for siding with President William Ruto and supporting his Kenya Kwanza government agendas.
