Retired Chief Justice David Maraga and gospel singer Reuben Kagame have implored the citizens of Kenya to insist on ethical and accountable leadership which they consider as the foundation of any real change in the country.
The two of them, speaking at a funeral service in Makueni County, pointed out that good governance accompanied by a strong fight against corruption is what will help regain the moral and economic resuscitation of the society.
In another instance, the Jubilee Party branch in Kisii County has declared that they will be supporting the former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i in his presidential election campaign in 2027. Speaking to the people at Bogiakumu Ward in Bonchari Sub-County, the branch chairperson Loice Manyange urged the Kisii residents to turn out in large numbers for voter registration saying that their engagement will be instrumental in determining the political future of the country.
