Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has issued a fiery warning against what he termed as attempts to weaken the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), declaring that the party will not succumb to internal or external pressures.

In a strongly worded statement, Ole Kina dismissed any comparisons between ODM and the former ruling party KANU, insisting that history will not repeat itself.

“We can’t ever end up like KANU, no matter what,” he said, warning unnamed individuals against what he described as “diabolical schemes” to dismantle ODM.

The outspoken senator further signaled a political mobilization tour across key opposition strongholds, including Kisumu, Homa Bay, and Migori, where he plans to rally support and reinforce party unity.

“I’m storming in soon to ignite your fire and remind you who stood firm with Baba in the darkest hours,” Ole Kina declared, in reference to ODM leader Raila Odinga.

His remarks come amid growing political undercurrents within ODM, with factions jostling for influence and direction as succession debates and regional interests begin to shape the party’s future.
