A political war is brewing between Kibwezi West Member of Parliament Mwengi Mutuse and Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
The two leaders have been throwing jabs at each other while addressing separate gatherings in the county.
In one of the videos sighted by TUKIO.co.ke, Mutuse accused Governor Mutula of neglecting Kibwezi West in his county development programs and unlawfully demoting county employees.
On the other hand, in a different video, Mutula made fun of Mutuse’s cross-examination in the Senate by former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua’s defense during the impeachment trial.
Mutula, in what appears as mockery, implied Mutuse is not schooled and did not have sufficient knowledge about the impeachment motion.
In a rejoinder, in exclusive WhatsApp screenshots seen by this publication, Mutuse said the governor does not have the moral authority to question his education.
The MP went on to claim that Mutula scored a D in his KCSE exams after repeating Form Four. However, this publication could not ascertain the allegations.
