The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has extended heartfelt congratulations to David Kahura Mundia on his election as the Kenya Dental Association (KDA) president.
What KMPDU said about Kahura Mundia’s election
In a statement, KMPDU secretary general Davji Bhimji Atellah said Mundia’s election was well deserved owing to his exemplary leadership, tireless advocacy, and unwavering dedication to the advancement of oral health in Kenya.
At the helm of KDA, Atellah stated that he is confident Mundia will thrive and achieve remarkable strides in championing the rights of dental professionals while improving the quality and accessibility of dental care across the country.
"We have observed your commitment with admiration and are proud to stand with you. We are confident that under your stewardship, the KDA will thrive and achieve remarkable strides in championing the rights of dental professionals while improving the quality and accessibility of dental care across the country," said Atellah.While wishing him a successful term in office, the doctors’ union boss expressed his eagerness to work closely with the doctor and KDA to strengthen collaboration on matters of professional welfare, policy, and public health advocacy.
Notably, Mundia is the deputy national chairman of KMPDU and will continue serving in his position despite the new roles.
