Former Machachari actor Malik Lemmy, popularly known as Govi, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late grandfather, recalling how he foresaw his journey into television long before it began.
Marking nine years since his grandfather passed away, he has created memories that remain the most meaningful in his life. He remembered a moment in 2005 when his grandfather pointed at a television set and confidently told him that he would one day appear on screen.
“I didn’t spend so many years with Grandpa, but the time we had was the best. I remember you pointing at the TV in 2005 and telling me that one day I’d be inside that box and that surely happened, Malik wrote.
He credited his grandfather as an inspiring figure whose influence continues to shape his life years after his passing, expressing hope that he would be proud of everything the family has achieved.
Malik has navigated from his child actor to a mature creative who has pursued his higher education, graduating in 2024. He said he will always honor what his grandfather saw in him before his departure.
