Speaking on air, Kamene defended her earlier comments that encouraged young people—especially women—to explore different romantic connections during their youth. She explained that dating multiple people isn’t simply about finding love, but about better understanding one’s preferences, values, and personal boundaries.
“How will you know what you like if you’ve only experienced one type of person?” Kamene asked her listeners. “Dating isn’t just about finding ‘the one’—it’s about discovering yourself.”
She emphasized that exploring different kinds of partners, personalities, and relationship styles can offer valuable lessons that help shape one’s understanding of love, compatibility, and self-worth. According to Kamene, narrowing your experiences too early can limit growth.
“Why tie yourself down so young?” she posed. “You might miss out on the depth and variety of love just because you committed too soon.”
