Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Monday received a pre-briefing ahead of the 28th Ordinary Session of the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council (IBEC) scheduled to take place at his official residence in Karen.
The session, which brings together the national government and county leaders, will deliberate on matters of finance, budgeting, planning, and overall economic coordination.
This will be the second IBEC meeting held this year and the fourth to be chaired by Kindiki since assuming the office of Deputy President.

IBEC serves as a key platform for fostering consultation and cooperation between the two levels of government, with its resolutions expected to shape Kenya’s economic priorities in the coming months.
