Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusive development, saying regular consultations with elected leaders remain key to identifying challenges and accelerating service delivery.
Speaking at his Karen residence after a high-level meeting with Members of Parliament from Narok, Kajiado, Marsabit and Samburu counties, Kindiki emphasized that continuous engagement ensures accurate feedback on progress and provides solutions to bottlenecks hindering the implementation of government policies.
The meeting brought together lawmakers and senators from the four counties alongside other leaders, including David Sankok of the East African Legislative Assembly.
Discussions centered on fast-tracking development programs in infrastructure, security, and social services, particularly in pastoralist communities.
Kindiki noted that the government is prioritizing policies aimed at boosting livelihoods, improving food security and promoting peace in regions facing insecurity and economic marginalization.
He assured the leaders that their input would help shape interventions for long-term impact as the administration moves to deliver on its promises.
