Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has left social media buzzing after announcing that he and his partner, Ruth K, have gone their separate ways.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Mulamwah wrote, “YES, IT’S TRUE. WE HAVE DECIDED TO PART WAYS WITH R.K. It was nice while it lasted.”
The short statement sparked a frenzy online, with fans and followers weighing in on what many suspect could be nothing more than a publicity stunt. Some netizens believe the duo might be using the breakup claims to drum up attention for Mulamwah’s upcoming comedy show.
The rumors gained traction after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling suspicions of a split. While a section of fans expressed genuine concern and speculated about what might have gone wrong, others were quick to call it “Kiki” — slang for clout chasing.
“Every time there’s a big event coming up, you know what to expect,” one user commented, suggesting the breakup might be a marketing strategy.
Still, the post caught many by surprise, especially since it comes just days after another highly publicized breakup — that of comedian-turned-activist Eric Omondi and influencer Lynne Njihia.
